Torrential or Heavy Rain in Shaanxi and Chongqing Today; Rainfall Process Expected in North and Northeast China
According to the website of the National Meteorological Center, heavy rain continued to affect Hunan, Liaoning, Jilin and other places yesterday. Monitoring shows that torrential or heavy rain occurred in parts of central and western Hunan, southern Hubei, southeastern Chongqing, northeastern Guizhou, northern Guangxi, northwestern Guangdong and the southern coastal areas of Guangdong, southeastern Yunnan, northern Henan, central and western Shandong and the northern part of the Shandong Peninsula, central and northern Liaoning, and central and eastern Jilin. Extremely heavy rain (250–393 mm) occurred in localized areas including Huaihua, Changsha, Shaoyang and Loudi in Hunan, Zhanjiang in Guangdong, and Baise in Guangxi.
