On April 23 local time, at the ceremony commemorating the 210th anniversary of the Second Serbian Uprising and the 172nd anniversary of the city's founding, the municipal government of Upper Milanovac, Serbia, awarded the "Takovo Uprising Gold Medal" to the builders of PowerChina's Upper Milanovac Ring Road Project. The award was established by the municipal government to honor individuals or groups that have made outstanding contributions in production, science, art and other social fields. PowerChina's Upper Milanovac Ring Road Project received the honor for its remarkable achievements in optimizing the regional transportation network and improving people's livelihood.

At the award ceremony, Mayor Dejan Kovačević of Upper Milanovac said that the gold medal not only represents the highest-level recognition of PowerChina's technical strength in urban infrastructure, but also embodies the expectation that benchmark enterprises in the industry will continue to lead development. Project Manager Wu Shiguang, who accepted the award on behalf of PowerChina, said that the ring road project has always adhered to the principle of "connecting communities, driving development and building the future," and that this honor is both a commendation of the company's sense of responsibility and a testament to the deepening cooperation between China and Serbia in the new era.

As a key regional transportation project, the Upper Milanovac Ring Road in Serbia has a total length of 9.4 kilometers and covers both the upgrading and renovation of existing municipal roads and the construction of new sections. The project passed completion acceptance and was officially put into operation on September 30, 2024, and has now become a transportation artery connecting the city's economic belt.
