Recently, after 9 hours of continuous effort, the "Block 0" of the continuous girder of the No. 1 six-track super major bridge at Fanhui Station in Xuanhan, Dazhou, Section 4 of the Kangyu section of the Xi'an-Chongqing High-Speed Railway undertaken by China Railway Sixth Group was successfully poured, marking that the Fanhui Station No. 1 six-track super major bridge project has officially entered a new stage of superstructure construction.
Long-span integral continuous girder bridges are generally constructed in segments, and each segment is called a "block." Block 0 is the first unit poured during segmental construction of a continuous girder. It is located directly above the pier and is the "starting point" for extending the bridge superstructure to both sides, as well as a key node in continuous girder construction.
The Fanhui Station No. 1 six-track super major bridge, whose continuous girder Block 0 was poured this time, has a total length of 917.55 meters and is designed with 503 piles. It is a key project within the section. The Block 0 of Pier No. 14, the main pier of the continuous girder poured this time, is 9 meters long, 17.01-17.422 meters wide at the top, and 6.02 meters high, with 56.7 tons of reinforcement. It is designed to use C50-strength concrete, with a total volume of 327.28 cubic meters, and was poured in a single continuous operation. To ensure the smooth progress of the pouring construction, the technical team and the work area repeatedly discussed the construction plan and conducted quality, safety, and technical briefings for the operating personnel. During the pouring process, on-site management personnel tracked the entire process and focused on monitoring the operating procedures of processes and links such as support erection, formwork installation, reinforcement tying, and concrete pouring, ensuring that the pouring process was closely coordinated and the quality was reliable.
The Xi'an-Chongqing High-Speed Railway is an important part of the Baoji (Yinchuan)-Haikou corridor and the Beijing-Kunming corridor among the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway corridors in the national medium- and long-term railway network plan. It has a total length of 739 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
