According to the introduction, under the traditional model, goods transshipped from Nansha to the import destination Jiangmen had to go through complicated customs declaration procedures, involving multiple operational steps in both locations, which was not only time-consuming and labor-intensive but also restricted the rapid circulation of goods. The innovative implementation of the "One Port Through" model has broken this bottleneck. Guangzhou Nansha Port and Jiangmen Gaoxin Port share resources and complement each other's advantages, fully integrating port supervision methods to achieve "one declaration, one inspection, one release" for local customs declaration. Now, enterprises only need to complete customs declaration in one place to enjoy worry-free customs clearance services throughout the process, greatly improving clearance efficiency and reducing logistics costs.

With the launch of the "One Port Through" project, the first batch of pilot goods successfully arrived at Guangzhou Nansha Port. Subsequently, this batch of goods was seamlessly connected to Jiangmen Gaoxin Port through efficient barge services, realizing the convenient customs clearance process of "one declaration, one inspection, one release" throughout, demonstrating efficiency and smoothness.

It is reported that the imported combined port model will also optimize Jiangmen's local import procedures, simplify import formalities, achieve stable vessel carriage status, and save logistics costs for enterprises.

The reporter learned that Jiangmen Gaoxin Port had previously opened "One Port Through" export routes with Shenzhen Shekou, Yantian and Guangzhou Nansha.
