According to the document "Notice of the Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Finance on Issuing the 2016 Major Science and Technology Special Projects, Guiding Project Plans and Funding (Newly Listed City-Level Seventh Batch)" (Min Cai Jiao Zhi [2016] No. 42), Fujian Yongqiang Geotechnical Co., Ltd. of Xinluo District has been approved for the special project "Research, Development and Application Demonstration of Monitoring and Treatment Technology and Equipment for Karst Collapse Geological Disasters" under the Fujian Provincial Major Science and Technology Special Project on "Key Technologies and Equipment for Public Safety." The Provincial Department of Science and Technology has provided 5 million yuan in science and technology funding for this project, with the first batch of 3 million yuan already allocated.

Led by Fujian Yongqiang Geotechnical Co., Ltd. of Xinluo District, the project is jointly implemented with four universities and research institutes, including Fuzhou University, Fujian Provincial Institute of Geological Engineering Investigation, Xiamen University of Technology, and Fujian Academy of Building Research. Targeting the technical challenges of karst collapse disaster treatment in Fujian Province, the project conducts research in five areas: "Research on Karst Collapse Mechanisms and Mechanical Models," "Monitoring and Early Warning Platform and Demonstration Application for Karst Collapse Geological Disasters," "Development of New Underwater Non-Dispersible High-Performance Foam Concrete Materials," "Development of Intelligent Manufacturing and Pressure Grouting Equipment for Foam Concrete Materials," and "Collaborative Research on Multiple Technologies for Karst Composite Foundation Treatment and Foundation Reinforcement," in order to enhance scientific and technological support for responding to major natural disasters.

The Xinluo District Science and Technology Bureau will, in accordance with the requirements of the "Measures for the Management of Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Plan Projects" and the "Measures for the Management of Fujian Provincial Major Science and Technology Special Projects," carefully guide and supervise the implementation of the project, ensure that science and technology funds are in place, used exclusively for their designated purposes, and accounted for separately, and guarantee the smooth implementation of the project.
