Heavy Rainfall Expected in South China and Eastern Southwest China
According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, it is forecast that from 8:00 on May 28 to 8:00 on May 29, heavy to torrential rain will occur in parts of southern and western Guangxi, southwestern Guangdong, Hainan Island, southwestern Guizhou, eastern and northwestern Yunnan, western Sichuan Basin, western Chongqing, southern Gansu, southeastern Tibet, and western Taiwan Island. Among these areas, localized torrential rain (100–120 mm) is expected in southwestern Guangdong, northern Hainan Island, northwestern Sichuan Basin, and southeastern Tibet.
