On September 2, following the successful pouring of the first pile foundation across the entire line, the No. 14 pile cap beam on the right carriageway of Mayashan Grand Bridge of the Bianmen Expressway Project, undertaken by the Third Company of China Railway Seventh Group, successfully completed concrete pouring. This achievement cleared a key node in bridge construction in one stroke, marking that the bridge works of the contract section have officially moved from the substructure construction stage into a new stage of superstructure construction, laying a solid foundation for the efficient subsequent construction of the bridge's main structure.

The Mayashan Grand Bridge is a key control project of the Bianmen Expressway Project. The bridge is located deep in a complex mountainous area, where the regional geological conditions are complex and variable and the topography and landforms are unique. The harsh natural construction environment poses great challenges to project progress. In addition, the project construction also faces multiple adverse factors such as insufficient on-site supporting space and difficulties in material entry, greatly increasing the organizational difficulty and implementation pressure of pile cap beam construction.

The construction standards for the pile cap beam of the No. 14 pier on the right carriageway in this construction are stringent. The pile diameter of the pile foundation for this pier reaches 2.2 meters, the center-to-center spacing between pile foundations No. 14-0 and No. 14-1 is 7.55 meters, and the pile cap beam dimensions are 1.8 meters in height and 1.5 meters in width, with a designed concrete pouring volume of 28.63 cubic meters. Under numerous construction constraints and severe challenges, the project team rose to the occasion and took the initiative to break through difficulties. They carried out advance overall planning and scientific and refined organization, assigned dedicated personnel responsible for on-site scheduling and coordination, conducted real-time traffic diversion and control, and cleared bottlenecks in material transportation and construction access. At the same time, they kept close watch on the entire construction process and implemented standardized strict control over core key procedures such as rebar tying, formwork installation, concrete mix proportioning and adjustment, and on-site pouring and vibration, ensuring orderly construction in all respects. During construction, technical personnel provided full-process on-site supervision, strictly implemented the safety technical disclosure system, refined quality and safety control measures, and built a comprehensive defense line for construction safety and quality.

The successful pouring of the first pile cap beam not only fully verified the scientificity, rationality, and operability of the project's customized construction plan and effectively overcame the difficulties of pile cap beam construction under harsh working conditions in complex mountainous areas, but also accumulated valuable, replicable, and promotable practical experience for the subsequent construction of similar bridge structures across the entire line, injecting strong momentum into the overall quality improvement and accelerated construction of the Bianmen Expressway Project.
