The Changlai Bridge project, constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group (MBEC), has completed all pile foundation work across the entire line after a year and a half of steady construction. Currently, Pier No. 5 of the main bridge over water has entered the cantilever casting construction stage. Xia Hao, project manager of the Changlai Bridge project under MBEC's Beijiang Waterway Capacity Expansion and Upstream Extension Project, introduced that the project has been steadily advancing since the team entered the site in January 2025. The construction team has closely followed key milestones and pushed forward in a tightly sequenced manner, striving to achieve the smooth closure of the Changlai Bridge main bridge by the end of this year.

Construction of the Changlai Bridge began in January last year. It has now entered the superstructure construction stage of the bridge, and the bridge is expected to achieve closure by the end of this year.
