On August 18, the first wind turbine foundation piling project of the Smart Energy High-Proportion New Energy Application Project officially commenced at Jiaxing Port. On the same day, the first pile foundation driving operation was successfully completed, marking the project's entry into the main construction phase.

The project is located in the Zhapu Port Area of Jiaxing Port and is planned to build two wind turbine generator units with a single-unit capacity of 6.25 MW, along with supporting energy storage facilities. The total installed capacity is 12.5 MW, with an annual power generation of 26.07 million kWh, which can reduce carbon emissions by approximately 16,000 tons. Once completed and put into operation, the project will continuously supply clean electricity to the port area, significantly optimize the energy structure of the port region, and provide strong support for the construction of a green and low-carbon port.

As the "opening battle" of project construction, the first pile foundation driving operation received great attention. Before construction, Smart Energy conducted a comprehensive survey of the port area's production environment, formulated construction plans tailored to local conditions, strictly organized safety technical briefings, and systematically explained the construction process, technical key points, and risk prevention and control measures to ensure that all personnel were familiar with operating procedures and emergency plans.

During construction, the project team provided full-process tracking and supervision. The construction personnel and the pile driver operation team worked closely together, with all stages connected in an orderly manner, ultimately successfully completing the first pile foundation driving task and accumulating valuable experience for subsequent high-quality construction.

"We will strictly uphold the bottom lines of project quality and safety, scientifically coordinate the construction plan, accelerate the construction of the remaining turbine positions, and strive to achieve grid connection by the end of the year," said the head of the project team.

At the same time, other works of the Smart Energy High-Proportion New Energy Application Project are advancing at multiple points and in full swing. Among them, the Beilun wind turbine project has completed on-site surveys and the contract approval process, and the preparation of the "one enterprise, one policy" construction plan has been successfully concluded, initially meeting the conditions for launch and implementation; the wind turbine project in Zone C of Yueqing Bay is also accelerating, with contract signing and project department establishment both completed, and various on-site coordination tasks such as temporary facility construction proceeding in an orderly manner. Together with the wind turbine project in the Zhapu Port Area, the three form a phased advancement pattern, jointly supporting the accelerated expansion of the port's new energy installed capacity.
