On July 4, with the completion of the final section of parapet wall concrete pouring,
the main structure construction of the Beihai Inner Harbor (Dijiao Fishing Port) Upgrade and Renovation Project in Beihai City (hereinafter referred to as the Beihai Dijiao Fishing Port Wharf Project), undertaken by Guangxi Road Construction Engineering Group, was successfully completed.

The Beihai Dijiao Fishing Port Wharf Project is located in Haicheng District, Beihai City, and its construction content includes a 140-meter standardized wharf, water supply and drainage, power supply and lighting, and other supporting infrastructure. After the project is completed and put into use, it will add 4 fishing vessel berths, significantly enhance the cargo handling and vessel turnover capacity of Dijiao Fishing Port, effectively optimize the navigation and berthing conditions for fishing vessels, strengthen the comprehensive safeguard capacity of the fishing port for wind prevention, disaster reduction, and emergency refuge, and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the local fishery economy.
The Beihai Dijiao Fishing Port Wharf adopts an L-shaped pile cap structure, with a total length of 140 meters, divided into 6 construction segments. Because the elevation of the pile cap base is lower than the average tidal level of the sea area, the entire construction process is greatly affected by tides, and the effective operation window each month is short with limited construction duration. To fully ensure the milestone schedule, the project construction team drove steel sheet piles on the seaward side to form a retaining system, effectively extending the continuous operation time during slack tide periods. Construction efficiency was significantly improved, and the wharf pile cap construction task was completed on schedule.
The pile foundation works are the core and critical process determining the overall progress of the project, and a total of 154 rotary drilled cast-in-place piles were designed for the project. The sand layer geological structure at the construction site is complex, the stability of pile foundation hole formation is poor, and underwater concrete pouring is difficult. The project construction team adapted measures to local conditions and implemented precise strategies, formulating a special construction plan based on on-site geological parameters and tidal variation patterns, adopting the full casing follow-up wall protection technique, dynamically regulating the water pressure inside and outside the casing, and precisely selecting low-tide periods for concrete pouring operations. At the same time, real-time tracking and dynamic control throughout the construction site were strengthened, various construction bottlenecks and difficulties were resolved one by one, and all wharf cast-in-place pile construction operations were completed efficiently and with high quality.
Next, the project construction team will continue to strictly control project quality, safety, and progress, orderly advance subsequent construction tasks, and make every effort to build a high-quality, safe, and reliable exemplary livelihood project.
