Since the beginning of this year, Pingli County has firmly seized the "golden period" for the construction of road transportation projects, kept a close eye on construction goals, pooled efforts to overcome difficulties, accelerated the advancement of key transportation projects, and built up momentum and vitality for the high-quality economic and social development of the county.

At the construction site of the reconstruction project of the highway from Dagui Town to Guangfo Town in Pingli County (the Dagui to Luohe section) and the new construction project of the Huangyang River Bridge in Baijiawan Village, Dagui Town, pile foundation construction for bridge piers, roadbed excavation, and retaining wall masonry were carried out with cross-operation among all procedures, efficient connection, and standardized order, presenting a bustling scene of vigorous labor.

The reconstruction project of the highway from Dagui Town to Guangfo Town (the Dagui to Luohe section) has a construction length of 35.372 kilometers and adopts the design standard of a Class III highway, with a roadbed width of 7.5 meters and a pavement width of 6.9 meters across the entire line, paved with asphalt concrete. The Huangyang River Bridge in Baijiawan Village, Dagui Town, is located about 1.8 kilometers ahead of the intersection of G346 Line and Baichao Road in Baijiawan. The newly built bridge has a total length of 213.5 meters and a deck width of 10 meters. Once the "one road and one bridge" are completed, they will thoroughly solve the travel difficulties of the people along the route, further improve the regional transportation network, help develop advantageous resources, and provide solid transportation support for deepening the advancement of rural revitalization and activating the development momentum of townships.

"The Huangyang River Bridge in Baijiawan is currently undergoing bored pile construction, and 7 of the 16 pile foundations along the entire line have been completed. We will seize the fine sunny weather, increase input of personnel and equipment, and complete the earthwork and rock excavation of the Daguang Road roadbed as soon as possible," introduced Zhu Yongbo, the project manager.

The reconstruction project of the highway from Qianjiaping to Ranghekou in Pingli County is one of the top ten livelihood projects of Pingli County in 2026. It is designed according to the Class IV highway standard, with a total length of 23.092 kilometers, and adopts an asphalt concrete pavement. Since construction started at the end of February, relevant county-level departments have quickly set up dedicated working teams, refined task lists, reversed construction schedules and set milestone nodes, and gone all out to seize construction time, catch up with progress, and ensure quality.

"At present, we have arranged eight work faces for simultaneous construction and increased input of personnel and mechanical equipment, mainly carrying out roadbed protection engineering and earthwork and rock excavation. We plan to complete the roadbed engineering by the end of July and start water-stabilized layer construction in early August," said Xiong Tao, project leader of Section II of the Qianjiaping to Ranghekou highway reconstruction project.

To ensure the efficient and orderly advancement of transportation projects, Pingli County has coordinated resources and forces, focused on guarantee, implementation, and advancement, refined various construction measures, strictly adhered to the three bottom lines of quality, safety, and environmental protection, and comprehensively set off a climax in transportation project construction, laying a solid foundation for building transportation that satisfies the people and paving a fast lane for county development.
