Recently, the Quanzhou International Center project, located in the core area of Quanzhou Donghai CBD, reached an important milestone with the topping-out of its commercial main structure. With the entire construction process accelerated and efficiency improved, the project team achieved a remarkable record of completing 5,588 pile foundations in 90 days, setting a new construction speed for large commercial complexes in the region and laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the project.

With a total construction area of approximately 340,000 square meters, Quanzhou International Center is a benchmark project designed to fill the gap in high-end commercial offerings in the Donghai area and improve the business and commercial supporting facilities of the CBD. Since the start of construction, pile foundation work, as the core foundational process of the project, has faced multiple challenges such as a large workload, intensive construction, and a tight schedule. To advance construction efficiently, Quanzhou Urban Construction Group coordinated the deployment, and its subsidiary Quanzhou Construction Engineering Group optimized the construction plan and innovatively adopted a full-process interleaved operation model.

The construction team seized the construction schedule, implemented a normalized construction mechanism, continued work on holidays with all staff on duty, scientifically allocated manpower and equipment resources, refined daily construction tasks, precisely controlled the accuracy, safety, and quality of pile foundation construction, and efficiently overcame the difficulties of intensive pile foundation construction, successfully completing the task of 5,588 pile foundations in just 90 days. On this basis, the project further accelerated its pace and successfully topped out the 120,000-square-meter two-story basement and the 100,000-square-meter commercial main structure in 180 days.
