At the Suqian East Girder Fabrication Yard of Section 3 (pre-station) of the Weifang–Suqian High-Speed Railway's Suqian section, more than 110 construction workers are operating on staggered schedules. Rebar tying, formwork preparation and box girder prefabrication proceed in close sequence, stably producing two box girders per day. "To date, we have completed the prefabrication of 283 box girders and the erection of 129 box girders, and the overall project progress is in line with expectations."

Chen Guangxi, chief engineer of the girder fabrication yard, said that in response to high summer temperatures the project has implemented multiple measures including staggered working hours and heatstroke-prevention supplies, so as to rush the schedule while ensuring safety and quality.

Data show that the Suqian section of the Weifang–Suqian High-Speed Railway has completed 98% of its pile foundations, 90% of its pile caps and 82% of its pier shafts, with overall construction advancing steadily. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2028. Once completed, it will interconnect with lines such as the Jinan–Qingdao and Xuzhou–Yancheng railways, supporting high-quality regional economic and social development.
