Recently, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between the CNNC Northeast Geological Exploration Center and XCMG Foundation was successfully held in Xuzhou.

According to the agreement, the two parties will, in accordance with the principles of "mutual benefit, stable and efficient operation, quality first, and win-win cooperation," carry out joint research on the iterative upgrading of drilling equipment, jointly advance on-site field testing of deep-well drilling rigs, and make every effort to drive in-situ leaching uranium drilling construction toward automation, reduced manpower, energy conservation, and high efficiency. At the same time, using this drilling rig cooperation as a starting point, they will continue to broaden and deepen cooperation in fields such as intelligent drilling equipment and drilling IoT technology.

XCMG and CNNC have a long history of cooperation, working closely together in multiple fields, and XCMG's complete construction solutions have been widely applied in numerous key projects of CNNC. This launch of strategic cooperation with the CNNC Northeast Geological Exploration Center will integrate and leverage the industrial characteristics and core competitiveness of both parties, continuously accelerate the pace of quality improvement and upgrading of drilling equipment, and inject strong momentum into the high-quality and sustainable development of China's uranium mining and metallurgy industry.

The CNNC Northeast Geological Exploration Center was formed through the integration of the Nuclear Industry 240 Research Institute and the Nuclear Industry 243 Brigade. It is affiliated with China Nuclear Geology Exploration Group Co., Ltd. under China Nuclear Uranium Co., Ltd. of the China National Nuclear Corporation, and shoulders the important tasks of national basic, strategic, and radioactive mineral geological exploration and scientific research and production. It is the main force for national radioactive mineral resource exploration tasks in Northeast China.
