As of June 8, 2026, the third phase project of the Tonghai Port Area has completed a total of1548 pilesfor waterborne pile driving operations, with overall pile driving progress reaching90%.

This means that although a large number of key foundation piles have been installed and the wharf foundation has essentially taken shape, it has not yet reached a fully "completed" status of 100%, and some remaining finishing work is still underway.

Previously, on March 23, 2026, when all underwater pile driving for the project's No. 3 berth was completed, the overall pile driving completion rate was 60%.
