On May 31, the first concrete bored pile of the 200 MW solar project in Stung Treng, Cambodia, undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group Southwest Electric Power Design Institute (CEEC Southwest Institute) as the general contractor, passed acceptance in a single inspection, marking the project's official entry into the main construction phase.

Since the start of construction, the project team of Liangxin Company has overcome difficulties such as rainy-season construction, local resource shortages, and cross-border material transportation, and quickly completed preliminary work including site clearing, procedure submission and inspection, material stockpiling, and logistics coordination.

At present, all on-site personnel and machinery are in place, and the project is being organized according to the approach of "model guidance and phased advancement." After the pile foundation is completed, the support bracket installation process will follow, with full efforts made to meet the goal of completing all pile foundations by the end of October.

All project participants will closely follow the construction milestones, strictly abide by quality and safety standards, and orderly advance the construction of sub-projects such as the PV area and booster station to ensure the project is connected to the grid and generates power on schedule. After completion, the project is expected to generate an average annual power output of 367,833 MWh, which will effectively alleviate local power shortages, reduce dependence on external energy, empower regional green and low-carbon transformation and sustainable development, and deepen practical cooperation between China and Cambodia in the field of green energy.
