At the construction site of the Phase I Public Pipe Rack Project in the Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone, undertaken by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), tower cranes stand in clusters and machinery roars as construction vehicles shuttle back and forth. Nearly a hundred builders are seizing the schedule, working overtime to accelerate the project, creating a scene of bustling activity.

It is understood that, as a key supporting project for Jieyang's efforts to build a world-class green petrochemical industrial base, the Phase I Public Pipe Rack Project, with a total investment of RMB 562 million, is a "main artery" for enabling the coordinated development of the park's industrial chain. This 10.11-kilometer "steel link" starts at the East Bank Public Wharf, crosses the Longjiang River, and then runs along the green belts of Linjiang West Road, Lingang West Road, and Huanhai East Road, ending at Nanhai Avenue. It closely connects the park's wharf, industrial park, and core road network, opening up the "last mile" for the transport of materials such as crude oil and chemical raw materials. The project covers an area of 253.88 mu. The main pipe rack is 9 meters wide and generally has 2+2 levels (with some sections at 3+1 levels), while the supporting branch pipe racks are 6 meters wide and have 2 levels. Once completed, it will enable safe, efficient, and green circular material transport within the park, laying a solid foundation for industrial development.

Since construction began in May 2024, the project team has stayed focused on milestone targets and advanced the project at full speed with the drive of "sprinting from the start and fighting to win from day one." As of the end of April 2026, the project has completed a cumulative investment of RMB 240 million, and overall physical progress has reached 65.4%. Key milestones, including total pile foundation work, pile caps, prefabricated components, and steel structures, have been reported one after another. At present, construction has already been completed ahead of schedule on the Yisike-to-Juzhengyuan branch pipe rack section, the Juzhengyuan crossing-the-Petrochemical-Avenue section, and the Juzhengyuan-to-Dongyue Chemical section; the section crossing the Longjiang River is scheduled for completion on July 30. The construction of the public pipe rack is an important measure for the Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone to improve infrastructure and optimize the business environment, and it is also a vivid microcosm of Jieyang's efforts to promote high-quality economic development. At present, Jieyang is making every effort to build a world-class green petrochemical industrial base. As the core carrier, the Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone is using major project construction as a lever to promote the deep integration of industrial chains, supply chains, and innovation chains. Once the Phase I Public Pipe Rack Project is completed, it will effectively solve the problems of scattered material transport and disordered pipelines among enterprises in the park, reduce enterprise operating costs, and improve industrial coordination efficiency. It will provide stable and reliable transport guarantees for key enterprises such as Juzhengyuan and Dongyue Chemical, helping the park build a safe, efficient, green, and low-carbon industrial development system.
