At the construction site of Niutang Station on Changzhou Metro Line 5, two Jintai trench cutters, the SG46C and SG80F, are working at full capacity, efficiently advancing the diaphragm wall construction and accelerating toward the project milestone targets.

This diaphragm wall construction comprises a total of 72 panels, with a panel width of 800 mm and a depth of 36 to 40 meters. The overall project schedule is only one and a half months. Thanks to efficient construction organization and stable equipment operation, 58 panels have been completed so far, and the remaining 14 panels are expected to be fully completed within half a month.

In this construction, one machine is a 10-year-old Jintai SG46C that still performs reliably, and the other is a new China IV-compliant Jintai SG80F that is energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and powerful. The old and new equipment work in coordination and complement each other's strengths. With mature and reliable performance and efficient operating capability, they achieve an excellent average efficiency of completing one panel in 11 to 12 hours. Even when faced with ultra-deep, high-precision trenching requirements, they maintain stable output and efficient progress, fully demonstrating the outstanding quality of Jintai equipment and the professional strength of the construction team.

At present, all project personnel are staying on the front line, with scientific scheduling and refined construction, making every effort to ensure the steady progress of the remaining works. As the diaphragm wall construction is about to be successfully completed, it will lay a solid foundation for the subsequent foundation pit excavation and main structure construction of Niutang Station on Changzhou Metro Line 5, help accelerate the construction of Changzhou's rail transit network, and provide citizens with convenient travel services as soon as possible.
