Recently, the first pile foundation of the Ziwei Expressway (Haining Avenue to the east side of Haichang Road) section in Haining, constructed by the Fifth Company of China Railway No. 10 Engineering Group, was successfully drilled, marking the official commencement of the project and its entry into the substantive construction phase.

The Ziwei Expressway (Haining Avenue to the east side of Haichang Road) starts from Haining Avenue in the west and extends east to the area east of the intersection of Pingyang Road and Wenyuan South Road, with a total length of approximately 1.28 kilometers, including an 832-meter tunnel. The construction scope covers tunnel, road, pipeline, electromechanical, and management building works. The main road is built to urban expressway standards with a design speed of 80 km/h. The project cost is 490 million yuan and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2028.

To ensure the smooth construction of the first pile foundation, the project construction team organized multiple rounds of scheme discussions in advance and conducted technical briefings for management personnel and work crews. During construction, the specific gravity and viscosity of the slurry were dynamically adjusted according to geological conditions to maintain the water head balance in the hole, effectively mitigating the risk of hole wall collapse, and through refined control throughout the entire process, the foundation of project quality was solidified.

As the first expressway to start construction in Haining, the Ziwei Expressway (Haining Avenue to the east side of Haichang Road) project, once completed, will effectively divert east-west traffic flow, improve Haining's "Two Rings + Four Links" expressway network, support the local "Integrating with Hangzhou and Jiaxing" transportation integration strategy, and is of great significance for promoting regional coordinated development and optimizing the urban spatial layout.
