March 8, the Donggang Grand Bridge under construction. As of that day, all substructure work on the Donggang Grand Bridge—including pile foundations, pile caps, and pier columns—had been completed, and the main bridge was 70% complete.

  The Donggang Grand Bridge is the longest sea-crossing bridge in Fujian Province on National Highway G228. It starts at Qianhua, Jiangjing, Fuqing, crosses Donggang, and ends at Putou, Jiangyin, and is scheduled to be fully connected by the end of June this year.
