On the morning of February 4, in order to further advance the construction of "good housing" and concentrate efforts on improving the quality of construction projects, the Huangshan Municipal Construction Engineering Quality Supervision Station organized and held a seminar on the design and construction of "good housing." Several dozen participants attended the meeting to jointly discuss the major plan for "good housing" construction, including heads of the Development Section, Construction Management Section, and Construction Management Office of the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau as well as some district and county quality supervision agencies, along with representatives of local construction, design, construction, and building materials enterprises and senior industry experts.

The meeting focused on improving engineering quality in the new era, with the theme of "good housing" construction, and centered on six aspects: "good concrete," "good walls," "good doors and windows," "good waterproofing," "good insulation," and "good renovation." Representatives from design units, construction enterprises, and specialized manufacturers, as well as building experts, combined specific project cases to share cutting-edge technologies, advanced processes, and experience in preventing and addressing common problems. The seminar content was closely tied to practice and highly targeted, providing valuable technical reference for creating durable, comfortable, and safe "good housing."

The meeting also discussed the building of a "quality community" for housing construction. All parties attending the meeting agreed that building "good housing" is not the responsibility of any single party and requires coordinated efforts across the entire chain and throughout the entire process, including design, construction, materials, supervision, and regulation. The meeting advocated establishing a regular communication and collaboration mechanism, promoting information sharing, shared responsibility, and jointly upholding standards, forging industry synergy, and carrying the concept of "quality first" through the entire life cycle of project planning, design, construction, and maintenance.

This seminar was not only Huangshan City's implementation of the "five invitations" system in the "Eight Measures for Engineering Quality Supervision of 'Good Housing Built in Anhui' (Trial)," but also an important symbol of building industry consensus and launching the construction of a "quality community." Next, Huangshan City will take this meeting as an opportunity to continue promoting the implementation and enforcement of relevant norms and standards, strengthen whole-process quality supervision, guide all responsible entities to "co-build, co-govern, and share," strive to push the quality of our city's engineering construction to a new level, and enable "good housing built in Anhui" to take root in Huangshan and benefit thousands of households.
