On February 5, the Xumin Expressway project recently made new progress: the pile foundation construction for the crossing over the Dezhou-Shanghai Expressway was successfully completed ahead of the Spring Festival. This breakthrough at a key milestone lays a solid foundation for the full delivery of the mainline construction.

The single-cao section of the Xumin Expressway faces multiple challenges, including complex geology, difficult crossings over roads and rivers, and stringent environmental protection requirements. The project department gave full play to the vanguard role of Party members and other key positions to overcome construction difficulties in all respects. During construction, intelligent management was implemented, with a dedicated "ID card" assigned to each pile foundation to achieve digital control throughout the entire construction process.

Among these, the section of the Huanggang Interchange crossing the Dezhou-Shanghai Expressway was the top priority. The project department adopted measures such as precise surveying and control and staged-width operations to successfully complete the construction of 12 cross-line pile foundations without affecting traffic on the existing expressway, achieving zero accidents and zero interference.

The project strictly implemented the first-article approval and three-level inspection systems, and adopted dual testing methods for all 1,281 pile foundations to ensure that all pile foundations met the Class I pile standard. Once completed, this corridor will inject strong momentum into the high-quality economic and social development of the areas along the route.
