从生产到销售，从研发到展示，建设中的CTEC工程机械交易展示中心，由工程机械设备交易区、4S店区、交易展馆区、零部件交易区、主题公园、商务配套区、研发培训基地、二手交易区、物流区、生活配套区等10个功能区组成，其中一期4S店占地300亩，建成后它将成为全国规模最大、配套最全的工程机械产品一站式采购总部基地。
工程机械产业是长沙工业第一大产业，今年1至9月，工程机械产业完成规模工业总产值1378.1亿元。在全国工程机械行业面临需求不足、竞争加剧、成本上升、效益下滑及出口风险加大等严峻形势下，打造全新的工程机械交易展示中心，将有助于长沙工程机械产业的转型升级。目前，美国卡特、日本日立、韩国斗山、中国龙工等工程机械巨头已率先入驻。
