Recently, on the seaside cliff on the east side of Baisha Island in Putuo, the"Dream Boat" cultural tourism complex projectconstruction site is bustling: large air compressors run continuously, transport vehicles shuttle back and forth... Pile driving and slope treatment construction are proceeding in a tense and orderly manner.

More than 30 construction workers are working together on multiple processes including platform slope cutting, anchor bolt grouting, and concrete ditch pouring. To date, a total of 38 pile foundations have been poured, and the originally steep cliff area is gradually being reshaped.

The project plansa total investment of approximately 218 million yuanwith a total land area of 8,397 square meters and a total floor area of 14,800 square meters. It is planned to build 95 high-end guest rooms of various types, equipped with complete facilities such as a lobby, restaurant, infinity pool, and conference center, creatinga new romantic-themed wellness resort landmark integrating wellness vacation, cultural experience, coastal sightseeing, and parent-child interaction。

As of the end of December last year, the project had completed cumulative fixed asset investment of more than 20 million yuan. Meanwhile, preparations for project operations have been laid out in advance.

According to the plan,the project will be completed and put into operation in 2029. After completion, it will revolve around the five core hotel concepts of "ocean, nature, healing, art, and romance," and integrate the island's existing resources such as the sea fishing base and Yuxiuli Style Lane, enhance the landscape supporting facilities and business layout around the hotel, and create a composite cultural tourism space.

At the same time, through the traffic attraction of the high-end hotel, it will drive the upgrading of industrial chains such as fisherman's restaurants, homestays, and seafood dining, while creating more island employment opportunities, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of Baisha Island's cultural tourism industry.
