On January 18, the construction site of the Changle Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone AI Intelligent Computing Center project was bustling with activity: excavators swung their arms and dug forward, engineering vehicles shuttled back and forth, welding sparks flew, and machines roared as workers seized the schedule to advance pile foundation construction and sprint toward the construction milestones.

The project is located on the east side of Zongbao 1st Road, south side of Zongbao 3rd Street, and west side of Nanxunchang Road in the Airport Economic Zone of Fuzhou Binhai New City, with a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan (including 330 million yuan for Phase I) and a land area of 33,347 square meters (50.02 mu). Its core purpose is to build a comprehensive AI intelligent computing center integrating data storage, computing and analysis, and application empowerment. It is invested in and constructed by Fujian Zhisuan Fangzhou Technology Co., Ltd.

The project is planned to be equipped with a large-scale matrix of liquid-cooled intelligent computing cabinets and a systematic array of network storage cabinets. By deploying internationally leading high-performance AI servers, it will build a diversified computing power cluster and, once completed, achieve a computing power scale of 15,000P. At the same time, Phase II of the project is planned to invest in and build a professional production line for computing power servers and inference all-in-one machines. Relying on cutting-edge computing technology accumulation and a mature supply chain system, it will professionally carry out the design, assembly, and manufacturing of high-performance AI servers and edge/cloud inference all-in-one machines.

In July 2025, all construction preparation work, including engineering survey, construction drawing review, and equipment mobilization, was completed. In September, equipment installation and civil construction were officially launched, and the foundation works are currently advancing steadily. The project is expected to complete the topping-out of the main building in June 2026. From June to October of the same year, equipment installation, system integration, and full-process commissioning will be carried out intensively. After passing acceptance in October, it will be able to officially go into production.Once completed, the project will fill the gap in high-end intelligent computing along the southeast coast, provide solid computing power support for the digital transformation of scientific research institutions and industries such as finance, manufacturing, and healthcare, and further leverage the advantages of the airport bonded zone to deepen digital cooperation between Fujian and Hong Kong and between Fujian and Taiwan. It will drive the clustering of the digital industry in Binhai New City, improve the computing infrastructure of the West Taiwan Strait region, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the digital economy in Fuzhou New Area (Changle District).
