To optimize the urban road network structure and expand the road traffic framework in the west of the city, Xiantao City has made a major plan for the 8.4-kilometer Xihuan Road. As a key link in this plan, the Xihuan North Road construction project is advancing steadily at an accelerated pace, injecting strong development momentum into the western part of the city.

      Stepping onto the Xihuan North Road construction site, one is greeted by a bustling scene of intense activity. Excavators swing their mechanical arms to precisely level the earthwork, while road rollers shuttle back and forth to compact the road surface layer by layer. The prototype of a broad and smooth road has already taken shape, giving a direct sense of the vigorous progress of the project.

      Up to now, the supporting pipe network construction for the Xihuan North Road road and bridge construction project has been fully completed, and the road subgrade paving, lime soil layer, and cement-stabilized base layer construction have also been fully completed. The construction of the bridge over the Dianpai River, carried out in parallel with the road construction, is the "key battle" for the through-connection of Xihuan North Road. The bridge is designed with a total length of 120 meters and a deck width of 38 meters. Cofferdam construction has now been completed, and pile foundation construction is underway. The bridge substructure is expected to be completed before April 2026, the overall bridge construction before September, and full opening to traffic is targeted before the end of October.
