On January 8, in the faint morning light, welding sparks flew along the banks of the Lingshui River. At the construction site of the Lingshui Maritime Silk Road Station Pedestrian Bridge, builders are seizing the schedule and going all out to advance the project. At present, the pile foundation work of this livelihood project, with a total investment of 40 million yuan, has been 100% completed, and the bridge is expected to be officially completed and opened to traffic in March 2026.

The bridge is located in the southeast corner of the Lingshui River North Area, adjacent to the confluence of the Lingshui River and the Jincong River, only 5 kilometers from the river mouth. With a total length of about 346 meters and a width ranging from 4 to 14 meters, it is a slow-traffic bridge integrating passage, sightseeing, and leisure. Once completed, the Maritime Silk Road Station Pedestrian Bridge will not only become an important slow-traffic hub connecting the north and south urban areas of Lingshui, but will also echo the Zhiyin Bridge from afar, forming a unique urban landscape of "two bridges reflecting the clear water" and becoming a new popular landmark.
