On December 25, Benxi City held the Sunward Complete Mining Equipment Product Promotion Conference and the Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony between the Benxi Municipal People's Government and Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., joining forces to build a high-ground for Northeast China's new-energy mining equipment industry.

     At the event, Hunan Sunward Mining and Rock Equipment Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunward, together with Benxi Steel Union Ore Dressing Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Liaoxiang Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., signed a tripartite cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture. The joint venture will focus on cooperation in the R&D, manufacturing, and promotion of green and intelligent mining equipment such as LNG range-extended new-energy wide-body dump trucks, and will jointly cultivate new regional development advantages in technology R&D, industrial implementation, and scenario application.

     Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. is a core enterprise under Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group (GIIHG), which has long been deeply engaged in fields such as auto parts, intelligent equipment, industrial services, and advanced materials. A GIIHG executive stated that promoting in-depth strategic cooperation between its core enterprise Sunward and Benxi City is a concrete action by GIIHG to implement the national strategy of advancing the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China and deepening regional coordinated development, and a key measure to practice the concept of green and low-carbon development and build a 100-billion-yuan intelligent equipment industry.

     This cooperation is not merely a joint venture to build a manufacturing project, but the strategic beginning of a regional industrial high-ground integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service, jointly built by Benxi and Sunward. It will create a new model of "technology-led, manufacturing-implemented, scenario-driven, and ecosystem-coordinated" development, and explore a new path of deep integration of "high-end intelligent equipment + clean energy application + smart mine operation." GIIHG will take this cooperation as an important fulcrum for optimizing its national layout and deepening its expansion into the Northeast market, making it a powerful measure to drive Benxi's manufacturing industry toward "new" development and forge new quality productive forces. GIIHG will provide all-round support in capital, technology, management, and market to help the joint venture quickly gain a foothold and grow, and build it into an industrial benchmark for new-energy mining equipment in Northeast China.
