Recently, the first building of the Yangmen Dehe Jiayuan resettlement housing project — the Yangmen Village urban village redevelopment in Nanchang High-tech Zone undertaken by China Construction First Group — successfully achieved the key "plus-minus zero" milestone (completion of the underground structure to ground level), officially transitioning to the above-ground structural construction phase. As a key livelihood project in Nanchang, the project centers on affordable housing construction, focuses on the public's need for secure housing, supports the advancement of new urbanization, and contributes solid, practical efforts to building a modern urban system that is livable, resilient, and smart.

The project is located in Nanchang High-tech Zone and has a total floor area of 229,300 square meters. Its scope includes 15 high-rise residential buildings (including 7 prefabricated buildings), along with supporting facilities such as a neighborhood center, a kindergarten, and related daily-life service amenities. Once completed, it will provide 1,460 resettlement housing units and 1,433 motor vehicle parking spaces, meeting the residential needs of approximately 4,672 residents, effectively improving the living conditions of the original residents of Yangmen Village and optimizing the regional urban spatial layout.

During construction, multiple challenges arose one after another. The pile foundation construction phase coincided with 55 consecutive days of sustained rainfall, and the muddy site severely affected construction progress. The China Construction First Group project team responded quickly with scientific coordination, urgently laying steel plate roadbeds to ensure the passage of construction equipment, while simultaneously deploying 8 construction crews and 4 pieces of core equipment and implementing a "three-shift" rotation work mechanism. While accelerating the schedule, they strictly adhered to quality and safety bottom lines. Ultimately, they completed the construction of 1,750 cast-in-place piles in just 4 months, and all test results were Class I piles, achieving improvements in both efficiency and quality.

Faced with difficulties such as the project's east, west, and south sides being adjacent to municipal high-voltage power lines (the closest distance being only 15 meters), difficult tower crane placement, and complex coordination among grouped tower cranes, the team innovatively adopted BIM technology and drone surveying technology for precise positioning, scientifically planning tower crane locations while avoiding the main foundation structure. To meet the hoisting requirements for precast stair components weighing up to 2 tons in the 7 prefabricated buildings, they determined equipment selection through precise calculation of tower crane operating radii and lifting capacity parameters, ensuring safe and efficient progress of cross-operation work.

In addition, the construction site is narrow, with the minimum distance between the foundation pit edge and the building red line being less than 2 meters, making it impossible to form a ring-shaped construction road. To overcome this constraint, the project team proactively coordinated with the construction unit, the High-tech Zone Construction Management Bureau, the Land and Resources Bureau, and other relevant departments, holding more than 10 coordination meetings, optimizing and forming 5 road opening plans, successfully applying to add 2 project entrances and exits, and laying a north-south temporary road within the foundation pit to build an efficient construction passage, pressing the "fast-forward" button for accelerated project progress.
