At 20:06 on December 5, with the successful pouring of the last bored pile, No. 23-7, the pile foundation construction task of the Nantong-Ningbo High-Speed Railway Section 6 project undertaken by China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group was successfully completed, injecting strong momentum into the project's intensive fourth-quarter efforts and its sprint toward the annual target.

The successful completion of this pile foundation construction task marks that the Nantong-Ningbo High-Speed Railway Section 6 project has officially entered a new stage of superstructure construction, and has also laid a solid foundation for the project to successfully complete its annual construction tasks. Next, the project department will continue to maintain the drive of the "intensive fourth-quarter efforts," and with greater fighting spirit and more pragmatic measures, fully advance subsequent project construction to ensure the annual target commitments are fulfilled on schedule and contribute to the early completion and opening of the Nantong-Ningbo High-Speed Railway.

The Nantong-Ningbo High-Speed Railway Section 6 project undertaken by China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group is located within Changshu City and Xiangcheng District of Suzhou, running from Changshu West Station in Changshu City in the north to Suzhou North Station in Suzhou City in the south, with a main line length of about 19 kilometers. It consists entirely of bridge works, including 2 extra-large bridges and 1 elevated station (Changshu West Station), with a total of 5,765 piles in the section.

The Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High-Speed Railway is an important component of the coastal major corridor of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. Starting from Nantong West Station on the Yancheng-Nantong High-Speed Railway, it runs south through Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province and Jiaxing City and Ningbo City in Zhejiang Province, and connects to Ningbo Station in the Ningbo hub. The line is 301 kilometers long with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed, it will greatly shorten the space-time distance between major cities in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta, and is of great significance for optimizing the layout of the Yangtze River Delta high-speed railway network and even improving the national transportation network, promoting higher-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, and achieving complementary regional resource advantages and comprehensive coordinated development.
