The G571 Jiuquan Aksai to Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang Expressway Project (referred to as the "Aruo Project") has achieved breakthrough progress in pile foundation construction:

The project has completed a cumulative total of 2,614 pile foundations, accounting for 71% of the total 3,682, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of bridge caps and pier columns. Among them, the G571 Aruo Project General Contracting Department of Gansu Gongfa Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. completed the pouring of 1,485 pile foundations, with the longest pile depth reaching 30 meters.

The G571 Aruo Project is a key project explicitly designated in multiple plans of the Ministry of Transport and Gansu Province. With a total length of 207.864 kilometers and a total investment of 10.57 billion yuan, it is being built to the standard of a two-way, four-lane Class I highway and is Gansu's first inter-provincial expressway corridor connecting to southern Xinjiang. The route traverses the heart of the Altun Mountains, where the terrain is dominated by vast gobi deserts, exposed rock formations, and frequent sandstorms, with large day-night temperature differences and a short effective construction period, posing enormous challenges to construction.
Faced with this extreme environment, the project company has empowered management by building a full-cycle management system featuring "overall planning, tiered responsibility, targeted measures, and closed-loop implementation," and by promoting a "grid-based + checklist-based" model that refines responsibilities down to work teams and individuals, with full-process on-site supervision of key steps such as pile drilling and hole cleaning; at the same time, it has established a sandstorm early-warning mechanism and optimized the allocation of manpower and machinery resources. The builders from Gansu Gongfa Engineering and other participating units brave the wind and sand—resisting dust storms by day and holding their posts at night—striving for perfection inside narrow, stuffy pile holes, and interpreting through solid work that "sound management makes for solid engineering."
