On November 25, the 30th anniversary and new journey launch ceremony of Liuzhou ZF Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Liuzhou ZF), themed "Inheriting Craftsmanship, Driving the Future," was successfully held in Liuzhou, Guangxi. More than 260 guests and employee representatives gathered together to witness this milestone moment carrying the profound heritage of Sino-German cooperation and to chart a new blueprint for future development.

Attending the ceremony were Pan Zhandong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee, Head of the United Front Work Department, and Vice Mayor of Liuzhou; Li Qinglin, Party Secretary and Director of the Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; Zeng Guang'an, Vice President of the China Construction Machinery Association and President of the Excavating Machinery Branch, and former Party Secretary and Chairman of LiuGong; Alexander Seeliger, Vice President of the ZF Industrial Technology Division and Head of the Off-Highway Systems Business Unit; Tilo Huber, Vice President of the ZF Industrial Technology Division and Head of the Construction Machinery Business Unit Product Line; Huang Li'en, Vice President of the ZF Industrial Technology Division and Head of the Asia-Pacific Region; Chen Ding, Vice President of the ZF Group, General Counsel for the Asia-Pacific Region, and Compliance Officer for the Asia-Pacific Region; Zheng Jin, Party Secretary and Chairman of LiuGong Group and LiuGong; Luo Guobing, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman, and President of LiuGong; Yu Chuanfen, Senior Vice President of LiuGong; Zhu Binqiang, Vice President of LiuGong; Xiao Xiaolei, Vice President of LiuGong; and Zhang Mao, General Manager of Liuzhou ZF.

In his speech, Pan Zhandong highly affirmed Liuzhou ZF's achievements over the past three decades. He stated that Liuzhou ZF has fully integrated LiuGong's complete-machine matching advantages with ZF's German technological heritage, driven by both "German quality" and "Liuzhou manufacturing," and has made positive contributions to the stability of the industry supply chain and local economic development. The Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will continue to optimize the business environment and fully support enterprises in deepening their development in Liuzhou, and look forward to Liuzhou ZF making new contributions to the construction of Liuzhou's modern manufacturing city and the high-quality development of industry.

Over the past three decades, Liuzhou ZF has produced and sold more than 150,000 transmission components in total, and in 2023 achieved a historic breakthrough of an annual output of 10,000 gearboxes. "The success of Liuzhou ZF is built on the core values of mutual appreciation and mutual trust between both parties," Alexander Seeliger said in his remarks. On November 25, 2024, LiuGong and the ZF Group signed an agreement to extend and deepen their joint venture cooperation, opening a new chapter of cooperation for the next two decades. ZF will continue to inject advanced technology and strategic support to help Liuzhou ZF further enhance its competitiveness in the global market.

Luo Guobing reviewed the course of cooperation between LiuGong and ZF, from 1993 when a LiuGong loader was first equipped with a ZF transmission system, to the establishment of the joint venture plant in 1995, and now to the deepening of cooperation, with the partnership between the two parties always based on strategic vision and mutual trust and win-win outcomes. Facing opportunities in the industry's electrification, intelligentization, and digital transformation, LiuGong will uphold the philosophy of "long-termism," continue to deepen collaborative innovation with ZF in cutting-edge fields, seize the technological and market high ground, and accelerate expansion into high-end global markets.

As a witness to and driver of the cooperation between LiuGong and ZF, Zeng Guang'an pointed out that the success of Liuzhou ZF is not only a deep integration of advanced technology and industrial chains, but also an organic combination of Chinese and German cultures. Standing at the important milestone of the 30th anniversary, he put forward three earnest expectations: stay true to the original aspiration and carry forward the spirit of cooperation; adhere to a market orientation and innovation-driven development; and deepen operational excellence and forge ultimate quality, laying a solid foundation for the company's sustainable development.

Zhang Mao shared Liuzhou ZF's journey of struggle from startup to industry leadership. He stated that Liuzhou ZF will take intelligent manufacturing as its engine and innovative products as its driving force, and, relying on its outstanding manufacturing capabilities and localized cost advantages, give back to the trust of all parties and create new brilliance on the new journey.

The event also presented honors such as the "Outstanding Contribution Award," "Corporate Loyalty Award," "Cornerstone of Merit Award," and "Golden Bridge Award" to employees and partners who have made outstanding contributions to the company's development over the years, paying tribute to the strivers and companions who have stood together through three decades.

Amid the enthusiastic atmosphere of a countdown by the whole audience, the leaders and guests on site jointly pressed the "start button" for the new journey, marking Liuzhou ZF's entry into a new stage of development and its continued writing of a new chapter as an industry benchmark with a high-spirited stance.

After the ceremony, the guests toured Liuzhou ZF's intelligent production lines up close, deeply experiencing its profound technological accumulation and strong innovation capabilities.

The thirty years of Liuzhou ZF are a vivid portrayal of Chinese and German enterprises complementing each other's strengths and achieving win-win cooperation, and also a splendid microcosm of the high-quality development of China's construction machinery industry.
