Recently, the Suzhou High School Affiliated Sanya School project undertaken by Jiangxi Hydropower officially broke ground. This school is a key project of Sanya's "One City (County), Two Schools, One Kindergarten" quality education resource introduction program. It is a public school directly under the Sanya Municipal People's Government, established through cooperation with Suzhou High School of Jiangsu Province. As a 12-year continuous public school, it covers primary, junior high, and senior high education stages and is expected to be completed and put into use in September 2026.

The project is located in Jiyang District, Sanya, adjacent to the Luobi Cave prehistoric cultural site, and built against the mountains. It will integrate the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the vitality of a tropical coastal area. The project includes plots A02-01 and A02-02, with a total land area of approximately 105,049 square meters and a planned total construction area of 129,920 square meters. The school will have 48 classes across 6 grades in the primary section, accommodating 2,000 students; 30 classes across 3 grades in the junior high section, accommodating 1,500 students; and 30 classes across 3 grades in the senior high section, accommodating 1,500 students.

The current construction phase by Jiangxi Hydropower covers the middle school section, with a total construction area of 94,501.56 square meters. It mainly includes the construction of teaching buildings, an auditorium, a gymnasium, a comprehensive building, a cafeteria, student dormitories, teacher dormitories, and a basement. Supporting facilities such as a track and field, football field, basketball courts, roads, landscaping, outdoor water supply and drainage, and electrical systems will also be built to meet the needs of modern teaching and student development.

As an important carrier of Jiangsu-Hainan educational collaboration, the school will become a frontier for educational research and a demonstration platform for classroom teaching in Sanya upon completion. It will help achieve the goal of full coverage of quality educational resources in all districts, further enhance the "Study in Sanya" brand, and enable more children to receive quality education at their doorstep. The project focuses on the educational issues of greatest concern, most direct, and most practical to local residents. By increasing supply, improving quality, and promoting equity, it effectively enhances citizens' sense of happiness and injects strong momentum into Sanya's sustainable development and livelihood improvement.
