On September 11, at the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the "Forum on Zero-Carbon Park Development and Practice," jointly hosted by China Academy of Building Research (CABR) and the Green and Low-Carbon Branch of the Beijing Engineering Survey and Design Association, was grandly convened at Hall 8 of Shougang Park in Beijing. Yin Bo, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of CABR; Lai Yuqiang, Vice President of the Architectural Design Institute of CABR; Wang Fengqin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Engineering Survey and Design Association; and He Changfu, General Manager of the Hubei Carbon Emission Exchange Center, attended the forum. The forum was co-chaired by Yu Zhen, Director of the Science and Technology Standards Department of CABR, and Zeng Yu, Chief Architect of the Architectural Design Institute.

On behalf of CABR, Yin Bo delivered a speech, expressing gratitude to the attending leaders and guests as well as to partners from all sectors who care about and support CABR's development. He noted that, in response to the imperative requirements of urban renewal, industrial transformation, and development resilience, CABR will continue to leverage its comprehensive advantages in cross-disciplinary, integrated technical services, join hands with institutions and academies from all sides to jointly build a multi-dimensional technical system, promote the deep integration of "industry-academia-research-application," and help achieve the overall optimization of parks.

On behalf of the Beijing Engineering Survey and Design Association, Wang Fengqin extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the forum. She expressed the hope that the forum would inspire more innovative ideas and facilitate pragmatic cooperation, contributing "Beijing experience" and "industry wisdom" to the zero-carbon development of parks in China. He Changfu stated that the Hubei Carbon Emission Exchange Center is willing to actively provide precise carbon accounting and data support, build a carbon asset management platform, innovate green financial service models, and support enterprises in adapting to green trade rules.

At this forum, four green and low-carbon standards were released: the China Society for Urban Studies standards "Evaluation Standard for Carbon Neutrality of Life Science Parks and Buildings," the "Implementation Guidelines for the Construction of the Energy and Carbon Monitoring System of Future Science City," the "Technical Guidelines for BIM Model Delivery in Future Science City," and the "Implementation Guidelines for Ultra-Low Energy Building Construction in Future Science City." Experts and scholars from CABR, Zhongtan Digital Technology Information (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. of the Hubei Carbon Emission Exchange Center, Shanghai Kangpu Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., and other organizations were invited to present practical experience and classic cases of zero-carbon parks, propose cutting-edge technical measures, and jointly plan the high-quality development path for China's park construction under the "dual carbon" background.
The forum was co-organized by the National Construction Engineering Technology Center, the Beijing Green Building Design Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Hubei Carbon Emission Exchange Center.
