Recently, the Phase I distributed photovoltaic project of the Jiangxi Provincial Education System (Foreign Languages and Foreign Trade Campus), contracted on an EPC basis by Jiangxi Institute, was successfully grid-connected, marking a solid step forward for Jiangxi Institute in continuously deepening the "Energy+" field and helping the Jiangxi Provincial Education System implement the "dual carbon" strategy and promote green and low-carbon transformation.

The project makes full use of the rooftops of office buildings, teaching buildings and other buildings on campus as well as idle resources, and cleverly plans and builds photovoltaic power stations along with supporting photovoltaic carports and charging pile facilities to achieve optimal resource allocation. After full operation, the annual power generation will be approximately 2.3 million kWh. Advanced monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules are used together with smart inverters to ensure stable and efficient photovoltaic power generation, which can meet the school's electricity demand, realize "self-generation for self-consumption, with surplus power fed into the grid," improve energy self-sufficiency, reduce operating costs, and practice the concept of green development.

During the project construction process, the Jiangxi Institute project department took multiple measures to fully ensure high-quality contract performance and minimized interference with the surrounding environment. First, through advanced technology and the formulation of scientific construction plans, drone hoisting and transportation were achieved, greatly improving construction efficiency; second, the staggered construction mode was adopted, with construction plans reasonably arranged, greatly reducing the construction period; third, safety regulations were strictly followed, and high-temperature and scorching weather was flexibly avoided to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

The successful grid connection of the Phase I distributed photovoltaic project of the Jiangxi Provincial Education System (Foreign Languages and Foreign Trade Campus) not only injects new momentum into the school's own sustainable development, but also plays a positive demonstrative and leading role for other universities and public institutions in carrying out energy transformation and green development. At the same time, it makes "green zero-carbon" a distinctive underlying feature of campus development and provides typical experience in "Energy + Education" that can be referenced and replicated for public institutions in the province's education system.
