In recent years, Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. (STEC) has continued to promote the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological innovation achievements. Batch after batch of new technologies and new achievements have been implemented and applied, empowering enterprise development and serving urban construction. In the first half of this year, five more scientific and technological innovation achievements of STEC successfully passed the "High-Tech Achievement Transformation Project" certification by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. These achievements cover multiple fields including intelligent manufacturing of tunnel segments, new materials, pipeline repair, and intelligent construction, fully demonstrating STEC's hard-core strength in driving industry progress through scientific and technological innovation. From intelligent manufacturing robots to minimally invasive pipeline techniques From new asphalt materials to large language models STEC people, with outstanding scientific and technological innovation capabilities empower smart and efficient urban construction Farewell to purely manual welding of steel reinforcement cages Segment steel reinforcement cage Automatic welding robot SMW.V1.0 The steel reinforcement cage structure of shield tunnel segments is complex and usually relies on manual fine assembly and welding forming. The "Segment Steel Reinforcement Cage Automatic Welding Robot SMW.V1.0" system developed by STEC Shanghai Tunnel addresses pain points such as low manual welding efficiency and unstable quality by innovatively building a two-step automatic welding process. Equipped with advanced 3D structured-light visual recognition technology, the system raises welding accuracy to over 99%. It takes an average of only 35 minutes to weld one reinforcement cage, multiplying efficiency and greatly reducing assembly error tolerance. This technology has been successfully applied in the Shanghai Municipal Airport Link Line project, completing efficient welding of approximately 10,000 rings of segment steel reinforcement cages. Both welding efficiency and welding quality meet engineering requirements, and the overall precision and performance consistency of segments have been improved, making high-quality and efficient segment production possible. The research results will also provide a solid foundation for the standardization and intelligentization of shield tunnel construction. Making steel bridge deck paving more convenient and longer-lasting Cast asphalt mixture Due to reasons such as large deflection deformation of steel bridge decks, smooth deck surfaces, and high thermal conductivity, steel bridge deck paving is more prone to damage than other road pavements, making it a difficult point in the field of road paving. STEC Shanghai Road & Bridge has successfully developed a compound high-content SBS cast modified asphalt for steel bridge deck paving. Based on technical principles such as high-temperature viscosity reduction and reinforcement and toughening, this material adjusts resin materials, elastomers, modifiers, and raw material ratios. It not only has good load resistance, excellent waterproof performance, and low-temperature deformation resistance, but also has the significant advantage of convenient construction, and can be used for deck paving of long-span steel structure bridges. The new material effectively solves the mixing and construction difficulties of cast modified asphalt mixture, greatly improves the service performance and service life of steel bridge deck paving, and has achieved industrialized development and large-scale application. "Reducing burden and increasing efficiency" for engineering construction Pre-drilled root-planted pile technology Traditional bored cast-in-place pile construction has problems such as difficult quality control, large concrete consumption, and difficult slurry discharge, which run counter to the national requirements for building industrialization, the dual carbon strategy, and green development. The "Pre-drilled Root-Planted Pile Technology" promoted by STEC Urban Construction Design Group has successfully overcome the design and construction difficulties of large-diameter piles (0.8-1.2 meters) and precisely controlled the impact of construction on surrounding facilities, highlighting the high-quality, low-carbon advantages of precast piles and the advantages of non-soil-squeezing construction. Practical application has achieved remarkable results: factory-prefabricated pile bodies provide more stable quality; soil discharge is only 30% of that of bored cast-in-place piles, greatly reducing slurry volume; under the same bearing capacity, concrete consumption is reduced by half, carbon emissions are reduced by 50%, and construction efficiency is increased by 4 times. This technology has been applied in multiple projects in the Yangtze River Delta region, including municipal, highway, and municipal railway projects, and will replace more traditional pile foundations in the future, "reducing burden and increasing efficiency" for engineering nationwide. Performing "minimally invasive surgery" on drainage pipe networks Geopolymer-reinforced composite mortar trenchless repair technology In the past, repairing old pipelines usually required road closure and excavation construction, which not only affected citizens' travel but also disturbed surrounding shops and communities. The introduction of trenchless repair technology has completely changed this situation—the "Geopolymer-Reinforced Composite Mortar Trenchless Repair Technology" developed by STEC Urban Construction Design Group focuses on the trenchless repair challenges of urban underground drainage pipe networks, box culverts, inspection wells, and other infrastructure. Through intelligent spraying equipment, geopolymer-reinforced composite mortar is evenly sprayed on the inner walls of structures to form a uniform and continuous lining. The sprayed lining forms a composite structure with the original structure, like putting an "impenetrable shield" on pipelines, box culverts, and inspection wells. It can quickly repair inner-wall cracks and spalling, form a continuous and dense protective layer, and improve impermeability and pressure-bearing capacity, completing repairs without breaking roads. From cleaning and spraying to curing, the new technology enables "repair and leave immediately," greatly shortening the duration of a single work window. This innovative technology not only shortens the construction period by about 60%, but also produces no noise or dust throughout the process, minimizing interference with residents' lives. Its high strength, superior impermeability, and corrosion resistance can extend the service life of repaired pipelines to more than 20 years, truly achieving "repairing pipelines without disturbing residents." Construction plans generated "intelligently" Qianyu Qianxun large model builds an integrated platform Traditional building construction operations are welcoming an AI "smart brain." The "Qianyu Qianxun Large Model Integrated Construction Platform" innovatively developed by STEC Digital Group relies on the open-source Llama 3.1 framework and, based on a self-developed LLM, builds a vertical large-model application for the building construction organization field, providing an efficient, intelligent, and customizable construction technical plan generation system. The platform efficiently integrates industry knowledge resources and, through functions such as intelligent Q&A, plan generation, and automatic drawing generation, quickly provides scientific, reasonable, and efficient construction technical plans for engineering projects. The platform has outstanding innovations, with capabilities including dual-driven building industry knowledge base and algorithms, adaptive learning, multimodal data processing, context awareness, and knowledge graph construction, and provides rich API interfaces for easy expansion. The platform has obtained software copyright and is helping to promote the digital transformation and knowledge sharing of the building construction industry. Empowering industry development through scientific and technological innovation Let more scientific and technological innovation achievements drive industry iteration and realize industrial upgrading
