LANDCROS One embodies Hitachi Construction Machinery's vision of building a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future for the construction industry. This concept excavator was developed by Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) in collaboration with Granstudio, highlighting a strategic shift in brand positioning—from a reliable solutions provider to a forward-looking, technology-driven innovation leader.

Design for sustainable operations

The design of LANDCROS One incorporates several innovative features: it offers three adaptable powertrain options—electric, diesel, and hydrogen—to meet flexible and sustainable operational needs; it supports three operating modes—manual, AI-assisted, and fully autonomous—to accommodate operators of different skill levels and enable fully remote control; and it integrates digital solutions such as AI-assisted control, remote workstations, and a 360-degree sensing system to enhance operational safety and reduce operator fatigue.
