Recently, a delegation led by Guo Chuanxin, Secretary-General of the Pile Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society, conducted visits to multiple benchmark enterprises in the geotechnical engineering field across Tianjin and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The delegation included Yu Haoshan, Chief Technical Engineer of the Langfang Exploration Institute; Yu Youcun, Senior Engineer of the Beijing Construction Machinery Research Institute; and Sun Jinshan, General Manager of Beijing Jinshan Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. The visits focused on in-depth exchanges regarding the current state of industry development, technological innovation pathways, and cooperation models, aiming to build consensus and solidify the foundation for cooperation to promote high-quality industry development.

     On the morning of July 4, the delegation's first stop was the Xiangjiang Road Station of Tianjin Metro Line 8, where they conducted an on-site inspection of the TRD construction method machine operated by Runming Heavy Industry. At the construction site, with machines roaring, the TRD machine's efficient wall formation and precise construction performance drew considerable attention. Delegation members made detailed inquiries on core issues such as the equipment's power system configuration, cutter wear-resistance parameters, and adaptability to complex geological conditions. Through close observation and detailed explanations from the technical team, they gained an intuitive understanding of the equipment's application advantages and scenario adaptability in deep foundation pit support and underground diaphragm wall construction.

     On the afternoon of July 5, the delegation visited Saimaisi (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd., where General Manager Meng Fanyou extended a warm reception and accompanied the tour. In the corporate exhibition hall, innovative products and technical models in the geotechnical engineering field were displayed in an orderly manner. Meng Fanyou provided a detailed introduction to the company's core investments in equipment R&D, technological breakthroughs, and industrialization achievements. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions focused on equipment R&D trends, engineering construction pain points, and market expansion strategies. The exchanges sparked numerous constructive viewpoints, sharing practical experience and forward-looking insights from deep involvement in the industry.

     On the afternoon of July 5, after concluding the Tianjin itinerary, the delegation immediately departed for Guangdong. Their first stop was the Foshan Branch of Shenzhen Xugong Industrial Co., Ltd. in Foshan City. General Manager Lü Ke accompanied the delegation on an inspection of the production base, where automated production lines operated at high speed. From precision component processing to complete unit assembly and debugging, every stage demonstrated rigorous craftsmanship. In the product exhibition hall, Lü Ke highlighted the performance parameters, technological innovation points, and practical application results in major projects of the company's flagship pile driving equipment. The delegation highly recognized the company's solid strength and innovative achievements in equipment manufacturing. Both parties reached preliminary consensus on collaborative technological research, joint development of new equipment adapted to market needs, and expansion of business cooperation areas, with a warm and harmonious exchange atmosphere.

     On July 7, the delegation visited Guangdong Foshan Liyuan Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd., where General Manager Pang Judong accompanied the inspection of the production workshop. Inside the workshop, various precision processing equipment and testing instruments were neatly arranged. Pang Judong introduced that the company has always focused on the iterative upgrading of hydraulic systems, committed to providing more stable and efficient power solutions for geotechnical engineering equipment. Both parties focused on the innovative application of hydraulic technology in large pile drivers, shield tunneling machines, and other equipment, engaging in in-depth discussions on pathways to improve construction efficiency and quality through technological upgrading, with pragmatic and thorough exchanges on technical details.

     On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited the Shenzhen Branch of Guangdong Hongsheng Engineering Equipment, where General Manager Chen Kaiqiang accompanied a tour of the office area and project display wall—the wall showcased key project cases and honors the company has participated in. During the exchange, both parties detailed their development histories, business layouts, and market positioning, and conducted in-depth analysis of common challenges facing the industry, such as raw material price fluctuations and tightening environmental policies, as well as transformation opportunities. They agreed to strengthen information sharing and looked forward to exploring more areas of alignment through project cooperation and resource complementarity.

     On the afternoon of July 8, the delegation visited Shenzhen Shenghui Machinery Co., Ltd., where General Manager Shang Zengdi accompanied the inspection of the production workshop and product display area. In the workshop, geotechnical engineering-specific machinery about to roll off the production line was neatly arranged. Shang Zengdi provided detailed explanations of product manufacturing processes, full-process quality inspection standards, and after-sales support systems. The delegation expressed appreciation for the company's achievements in quality control and market reputation building. Both parties actively explored product cooperation models and technical exchange mechanisms, with both expressing clear willingness to deepen cooperation.

     On July 9, Researcher Wang Tao of the Institute of Foundation Engineering at the China Academy of Building Research and Sun Jinshan, General Manager of Beijing Jinshan Foundation Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., jointly visited the Shenzhen Geotechnical Investigation & Surveying Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. to hold a special discussion with Master Qiu Jianjin and other industry experts on the preparation for the 16th Pile Foundation Engineering Academic Conference.

     The discussion centered on key aspects including the conference theme, agenda arrangement, guest invitations, and achievement presentations. All parties engaged in in-depth exchanges, expressed their views, and put forward multiple constructive suggestions. As a core representative of one of the main organizers of this conference, Master Qiu Jianjin placed great emphasis on the preparation work and explicitly proposed advancing all preparations with high quality and high standards to ensure the conference's successful holding. Researcher Wang Tao stated that the Pile Foundation Engineering Academic Conference is an important bond for industry exchange and expressed the hope that all parties would pool their efforts and fully commit to the preparations, looking forward to using the conference as a platform to gather industry wisdom and promote geotechnical engineering technological innovation and deep collaborative development across the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.

     On July 10, Sun Jinshan continued his coordination activities in Guangdong: in the morning, he visited Guangzhou Wanzhou Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., where General Manager Lin Huaguo accompanied the inspection of split-type clamp-pressure small static pile pressing equipment. Although compact in size, the equipment integrates multiple technological highlights. General Manager Lin provided detailed explanations of its working principles, construction advantages in confined spaces, and energy-saving and environmentally friendly features. Sun Jinshan engaged in in-depth exchanges on performance parameters and operational convenience, affirming its application prospects in urban renewal and small-scale infrastructure projects.

     On the afternoon of the same day, Sun Jinshan and his delegation visited Guangdong Beifang Foundation Construction Co., Ltd., where General Manager Wang Yonghai accompanied a tour of the office environment and project achievement displays. During the exchange, both parties introduced their respective technical teams, project experience, and development plans, and conducted in-depth discussions on technological innovation, project cooperation models, and market expansion, with both expressing willingness to pursue win-win cooperation.

     This multi-location visit spanning Tianjin and Guangdong had a compact schedule and yielded fruitful results. Through on-site inspections and in-depth exchanges, the delegation not only systematically learned about the development models, technological advantages, and management experience of industry-leading enterprises, but also enhanced mutual trust with quality enterprises across various regions, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
