To celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, solidly advance the in-depth study and education of the spirit of the Central Committee's Eight-Point Regulation, guide Party members and cadres to improve their Party spirit and cultivate their political character, and firmly build the ideological defense line for improving work conduct. On June 27, the Party Committee of the Geological Exploration Institute, together with the Labor Union, organized Party members, cadres and the masses in Beijing to go to the Memorial Hall of the First CPC Branch in the Western Beijing Mountains and Cuandixia Village to carry out a themed activity entitled "Party Building Leads and Gathers Strength, Union Building Empowers and Promotes a New Journey."

The Memorial Hall of the First CPC Branch in the Western Beijing Mountains is located in Tianzhuang Village, Yanchi Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. Taking the heroic deeds of Cui Xianfang, the first CPC member in the Western Beijing Mountains, as its thread, the hall vividly reproduces the glorious course of the CPC organization in the Western Beijing Mountains from its founding to its growth. By visiting the precious photographs, detailed historical materials and physical exhibits in the memorial hall, and listening to the careful explanations of the docents, the Party member cadres and staff seemed to travel through time and personally experience that magnificent revolutionary period.

After the visit, several branch secretaries led all Party members in reviewing the oath of joining the Party under the solemn Party flag. The oath was firm and powerful, demonstrating the Party members' steadfast belief in staying true to their original aspiration and keeping their mission firmly in mind.

In the afternoon, the group went to Cuandixia Village, one of China's first historical and cultural villages, to experience the unique charm and profound cultural heritage of an ancient village from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Strolling through the antique streets and alleys, everyone not only appreciated the exquisite beauty of traditional architecture, but also deeply experienced the breadth and depth of fine traditional Chinese culture, further enhancing cultural confidence and national pride. At the same time, the activity also greatly promoted communication and cooperation among team members, deepened mutual friendship, and laid a solid foundation for building a harmonious and upward working atmosphere.
