On June 28, Yuchai Casting Company's large marine and power generation engine cylinder block and cylinder head casting workshop was officially put into operation, and six strategic new products were released at the same time, marking a milestone step for Yuchai Casting in multiple key areas such as capacity improvement, technological innovation, and market expansion.

In the global manufacturing industry's wave of green and intelligent transformation, Yuchai Casting closely follows Yuchai's 1335 strategic goals, focuses on core businesses such as cylinder blocks and cylinder heads, large marine and power generation components, large shafting components, auto parts, and intelligent equipment, integrates resources, and actively competes in domestic and international markets, achieving remarkable results. From January to June, Yuchai Casting's cumulative sales revenue is expected to increase by 21% year on year, successfully achieving the goal of "half the time, half the target."

In recent years, the high-power marine and power generation business has experienced explosive growth. Against this background, Yuchai Casting Company's large marine and power generation engine cylinder block and cylinder head casting workshop construction project emerged. The project officially started in September 2024 and, after 10 months of construction, the workshop integrates multiple processes including core making, molding, melting, and cleaning. Its commissioning further enhances Yuchai's large casting capacity, with maximum single-piece casting capacity jumping to 20 tons, enabling it to undertake CT8-CT9 grade high-precision, complex-structure high-end castings.

At the strategic new product launch event, Yuchai Casting released six representative strategic new products, including wind power main shafts and large cylinder blocks. These products have achieved outstanding results in high strength, integration, lightweighting, and replacing steel with iron, and will meet the high-end needs of industries such as commercial vehicles, new energy power, marine power, and intelligent equipment.

○ Mingyang wind power main shaft: Achieves one-piece forming of ultra-large-size castings in the wind power field, is a key layout in the new energy industry chain, and injects new momentum into the efficient development of the wind power industry.

○ Marine power GL8100 ductile iron cylinder block: Reduced in weight by 15% through material and process upgrades, fills the gap in domestic high-end marine power castings, and enhances the competitiveness of domestic marine power products.

○ Hangchi planetary carrier: As the most complex high-grade ductile iron casting for wind power gearboxes formed in one piece, it marks Yuchai Casting's entry into the large gearbox casting market and expands its business footprint.

○ MTU-S2000 cylinder block: It is the first product in China to successfully cast an 18V cylinder block, laying the foundation for Yuchai Casting to enter the international high-end power market and enhancing the brand's international influence.

○ Integral cast axle housing: Innovatively applies "dual-high" ductile iron to drive axle components, pioneers the integral casting process, achieves 15% lightweighting of parts, fills the gap in domestic drive axle materials, seizes the technological high ground in lightweighting in the cast axle housing field, and leads the industry's technological trend.

○ Press machine worktable: Successfully overcomes the difficulties of performance of thick and large ductile iron parts and dimensional deformation of ultra-long sand cores, marking Yuchai Casting's entry into the large intelligent equipment component market and contributing to the development of the intelligent equipment field.

Li Hanyang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Yuchai Group, pointed out in his speech that Yuchai Casting achieved the new workshop delivery target in just 10 months, interpreting Yuchai speed and its culture of striving. Yuchai Casting's production and technical strength has long been in the industry's first tier. The commissioning of the new workshop will further enhance Yuchai's production capacity for large marine and power generation products, help the company respond more efficiently and quickly to customer order demands, and lay the foundation for the company's long-term development. The commissioning of the new workshop is also an important step in monetizing Yuchai Casting's technology. It will demonstrate technical capabilities through more product carriers and thereby implement the strategic positioning of "developing casting beyond Yuchai and strengthening casting beyond diesel engines." At present, multiple Yuchai Casting products have been verified and recognized by the market and have reached industry-leading levels. During the event, two trucks fully loaded with new products—marine equipment main shafts and integral cast axle housings—were dispatched and set off for delivery to customers.
