On June 24, the achievement "Key Technology Research and Application of Vehicle-Mounted Deep Well Casing Drilling Rigs," jointly developed by Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Changsha Special Engineering Equipment Industrial Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Central South University, successfully passed the Hunan Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Evaluation organized by the Hunan Provincial Institute of Scientific and Technical Information. The expert panel unanimously agreed that the overall technology of the achievement has reached the international leading level and holds significant value for promotion and application.

Sunward Vice General Manager Zhu Jianxin, Lin Hongwu, General Manager of Changsha Special Engineering Equipment Industrial Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., and relevant responsible persons participated in the review.

At the evaluation meeting, the expert panel listened to the summary report on technology research and development, conducted an on-site inspection of the prototype of the scientific and technological achievement, and carried out a comprehensive and in-depth review and assessment of the project evaluation materials. After rigorous questioning and thorough discussion, the experts unanimously agreed that the scientific and technological achievement evaluation materials submitted by Sunward are complete, scientific, and standardized, that the technical achievement is creative, advanced, and practical, that the research and development results have broad market application prospects, and that the overall technology has reached the international leading level.

This achievement mainly addresses the "bottleneck" problems that China's mining safety and energy sectors have long faced in the process of advancing the national energy security strategy and the "dual carbon" goals, such as the reliance on imports for deep well emergency rescue equipment and the insufficient localization of core equipment for energy transition.

After years of arduous research, Sunward has pooled top technical forces in the industry, broken through core technical barriers such as drilling in ultra-complex strata, overcome hundreds of technical difficulties, and developed the vehicle-mounted deep well casing drilling rig, achieving a leap from "following" to "leading" through innovation-driven development.
