Guangfo West Ring construction speeds up again! Recently,Sunward Intelligentnearly 20 units of high-end equipment, including rotary drilling rigs, excavators, and telescopic-boom crawler cranes, have been deployed in vigorous operations at the intercity railway vocational training section east of Tanbu Station, injecting "Sunward momentum" into this key project with efficient and stable performance.

As animportant transportation link for Guangzhou-Foshan integrationthe construction of the Guangfo West Ring Intercity Railway has long attracted much attention. The project is an important component of the Pearl River Delta intercity rail transit network, starting at Foshan West Station and ending at Guangzhou North Station, with a total length of 47.011 kilometers. It aims to further optimize and improve the intercity transportation network of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and inject new impetus into the development of the Greater Bay Area.

The project establishes an intercity railway vocational training section at Tanbu Station to provide training and practical opportunities for relevant personnel. However, construction of the vocational training section faces many difficulties: underground there are gravel and coarse, medium, fine, and silty sand layers, and karst strata are widely distributed, with local risks of collapse. Especially in pile foundation engineering, pile shafts must pass through single or multiple karst caves, making the work highly difficult.

Facing these challenges, Sunward Intelligent has safeguarded the project construction with its rich equipment solutions and deep engineering experience. On site, nearly 20 units of multiple models, including Sunward rotary drilling rigs SWDM280, SWDM300H, and SWDM360H, as well as telescopic-boom crawler cranes SWTC26 and excavators SWE215E, were deployed as a group, working together efficiently to help the project accelerate.

Among them, the most numerous, the SWDM360H rotary drilling rig, is a "star product" of Sunward Intelligent. It adopts designs such as a reinforced power head, high-strength mast, double-boom luffing mechanism, and reinforced telescopic chassis, ensuring stable and reliable construction in all aspects. The SWE215E excavator features strong power, large bucket capacity, and strong digging force, and adopts energy-saving technology with strong fuel economy.
