Recently, Unit 1 gas turbine of the Guoneng Anji Meixi 2×9H-class gas turbine new construction project, which is supervised by Shanghai Electric Power Construction Company and is the largest-capacity and highest-efficiency gas turbine in China, was successfully lifted and positioned in place.

The Guoneng Anji Meixi 2×9H-class gas turbine new construction project is located in Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the birthplace of the "Two Mountains" concept. It is a "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" project for expanding effective investment in Zhejiang Province, and also a key project of Zhejiang Province's three-year action for green and low-carbon development and for ensuring supply and stabilizing prices. The project utilizes the idle land of the former Meixi Power Plant in Anji County to build two new gas-fired generating units with a single-unit capacity of 843 MW, adopting the world's most advanced gas turbine model, the improved 9HA.02 H-class gas-steam combined cycle unit, with unit efficiency reaching up to 64.15%, about 17 percentage points higher than that of 660 MW-class coal-fired units.

Unit 1 gas turbine lifted this time is the first unit of the project, with a body weight of 438 tons and dimensions of 12.1 m × 5.4 m × 5.3 m. It is the heaviest core equipment in the plant and also the gas-fired generating unit with the largest single-unit capacity in China. To ensure the successful one-time lifting and positioning of the unit, the supervision team fully played its coordinating and management role and worked with all participating parties to plan carefully and organize scientifically. Before lifting, the responsible unit was required in advance to prepare a special lifting plan, the plan's compliance was reviewed strictly in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, technical standards and mandatory specifications, and the responsible unit was urged to conduct technical disclosure. During lifting, professional mechanical supervision engineers, turbine professional supervision engineers and safety professional supervision engineers were arranged to conduct full-process on-site supervision of the entire lifting process, ensuring the smooth progress of the lifting and the successful positioning of the gas turbine.

The project plans to achieve the "double commissioning" target by the end of 2025. After both gas turbines are fully put into operation, the annual power generation can reach up to 7 billion kWh, which can meet the annual electricity demand of 6 million residents and save about 670,000 tons of standard coal annually, injecting green momentum into energy supply security in East China.
