From June 11 to 13, the 24th China (Shanghai) International Power Equipment and Generator Set Exhibition (GPOWER) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Yuchai made a brilliant appearance with high-end power equipment including the YC16VCN gas generator set and the YC16VC and YC20VTD power-generation diesel engines, comprehensively showcasing Yuchai's cutting-edge technological achievements and outstanding strength in the field of power generation.

The Yuchai YC16VCN gas generator set is China's first 2MW-class high-speed gas generator set, with an electrical efficiency exceeding 42%, comparable to the international first-class level. It can be widely used in gas power station fields such as oil extraction, natural gas extraction, coal mining, biogas engineering, poultry and livestock farming, and waste treatment, providing users with efficient, reliable, economical and environmentally friendly green power solutions.

The YC16VC series power-generation engines adopt high-temperature wear-resistant materials and internationally leading electronically controlled high-pressure common rail technology, perfectly matching 2500-3300kW generator sets. They feature notable advantages such as compact design, outstanding performance, green energy savings, and high efficiency and reliability, and are widely used in scenarios such as data centers across various industries, isolated island power stations, large commercial centers, and high-end manufacturing enterprises, providing solid guarantees for stable power supply in important fields.

As an innovative masterpiece of Yuchai, the YC20VTD diesel engine reaches a speed of 1800 rpm and is specially designed for 2000kW prime generator sets. It adopts a compact design scheme with small cylinder bore and multiple cylinders, offering the advantages of small size and light weight for easy installation and transportation; it is equipped with efficient combustion technologies such as high-pressure common rail, four turbochargers, and water-to-air intercooling, and its cylinder liners, pistons, piston rings, and bearing shells all use low-friction moving pairs, greatly improving fuel economy.

With their attractive appearance, high performance, new technologies, and good market performance, the products exhibited by Yuchai this time attracted many domestic and international guests to stop and visit and exchange views, and they gave a thumbs-up to the technological innovation achievements made by Yuchai.

This year's GPOWER exhibition was jointly hosted by the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, the Emergency Power Equipment Special Committee of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, the Internal Combustion Power Generation Equipment Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, and other organizations. As an annual industry event, this year's exhibition area was expanded once again, and the number of exhibitors reached a new record high. The exhibition area exceeded 60,000 square meters, with more than one thousand domestic and overseas enterprises exhibiting, and a large number of new products, new technologies, and new application scenarios in fields such as power equipment, generator sets, intelligent computing power, and data center infrastructure were displayed at the exhibition.
