Technology Introduction Automated pit monitoring and real-time monitoring technology is an important aspect of the digital transformation of the construction industry, and an inevitable development direction for the integration of geotechnical engineering and artificial intelligence. At present, deformation monitoring is constrained by bottlenecks such as automated monitoring sensors failing to meet the accuracy requirements of actual engineering monitoring, high costs, and strong technical specialization, resulting in a relatively low level of commercial application. In response to the characteristics and requirements ofpit monitoring, CABR Foundation Engineering has developed a high-precision, low-cost sub-millimeter GNSS pit displacement monitoring system. 02# Description This system is based on BeiDou positioning technology, integrating GNSS andMEMS sensorinformation, supplemented by 4G communication technology, and obtains monitoring data through innovative primary and secondary filtering methods, raising the level of GNSS automated monitoring technology and achieving horizontal displacement monitoring accuracy of ≤1 mm andvertical displacement monitoringaccuracy of ≤1.5 mm. The system's cloud service platform provides a project dashboard and enables remote configuration of device-related parameters and algorithm upgrades. The system uploads monitoring data in real time in a modular manner, and manages, queries, and analyzes the monitoring data. When anomalies occur in the monitoring data, the system automatically issues pre-alarms and promptly sends the information to relevant management personnel via SMS. After application, the system can provide fast, accurate, vivid, and intuitive monitoring data analysis for the informatized and digital management of pit engineering, and more efficiently meet the needs for emergency handling of hidden pit hazards and timely information feedback. 03# Demonstration Application At present, the system has been promoted and used in multiple projects in Beijing, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and other regions. The application of this achievement can solve the key challenge of fully automatic, all-weather monitoring of pit displacement, and improve the safety and design and construction level of pit engineering in China. In addition to pits, this technology can be used for deformation monitoring of slopes, landslides, various dam bodies, buildings (structures), bridges, and other structures.
