The competition adopts an invitation-based registration system. Participants are universities or specially invited units that had passed the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's civil engineering program evaluation (accreditation) as of April 2025. Each university may send 1 participating team, each led by 1-3 in-service teachers, with 3 students (at least 2 undergraduates, at most 1 graduate student and limited to master's students only).

The competition process consists of three stages:

(1) Qualification Acquisition

1. First Prize: 1 winner

2. Second Prize: 2 winners

Prize: Xiaomi Redmi Projector 3 + Certificate of Honor

3. Third Prize: 5 winners

Prize: Huawei FreeBuds 5i earphones + Certificate of Honor

1. Announcement of Winners

At 10:00 on July 5, 2025, the list of winners will be released on the official Douyin account of Zhaodi Holding Group.

2. Prize Collection Method

Winners will be notified via Douyin private message with their award information, and mailing details will be arranged;

if the winning authors are present at the "Zhaodi Cup" event site, they may collect their prizes directly.

1. Entries must be original. If plagiarism, misappropriation, or other infringement is found, the participant will be disqualified and held accountable accordingly.

2. Participants must ensure that the personal information provided is true and valid for subsequent contact and award presentation.

3. The organizers have the right to publicize, display, and promote the entries, respecting the intellectual property rights of participants during use.

4. Entries must not contain content that violates laws and regulations or public order and good morals, and must not contain advertising, commercial promotion, or other such information (except for reasonable content related to Zhaodi Holding Group).

5. In the event of force majeure, the organizers have the right to adjust the event process and schedule and to notify participants promptly.

6. The final interpretation right of this event belongs to the organizers.
