Recently, the results of the geological science and technology project "Technical Research and Experiment on Ecological Restoration of High and Steep Carbonate Rock Slopes in the Yanshan Region," submitted by the Second Geological Team of the Hebei Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration, successfully passed the review and acceptance organized by the provincial bureau. Following expert inquiry and discussion, the research results were rated as "Excellent."

 The research team focused on the field of mine high and steep slope restoration, employing technical means such as process fabrication practice, survey and monitoring, in-situ testing, and numerical statistical analysis to analyze and compare applicable conditions, revegetation technical processes, revegetation effects, cost analysis, and stability analysis across multiple aspects, ultimately developing four ecologically sound restoration technologies that are economically reasonable, technically feasible, and demonstrably effective: micro-moisture pipe irrigation, anchor rod casing, kudzu vine hanging greening, and geocell. The research results earned 2 utility model patents, with 1 invention patent application filed and 4 high-level academic papers published (including 1 core journal paper).

 This project has enriched the technical system for mine environmental governance, providing key technical support and innovative solutions for the development of mine environmental governance, and offering technical support for the restoration and governance of high and steep slopes in open-pit mines.
