From May 23 to 25, 2024, the Geotechnical Advanced Management Training Program (GMBA) of the Foundation Engineering Academy was successfully held in Liyang and Yixing, Jiangsu. Supported by the Liyang Smart City Research Institute of Chongqing University and Jianji Construction Group Co., Ltd., the program offered participants a learning feast that deeply integrated theory and practice through diverse formats such as classroom learning, field visits, and industry-academia-research matchmaking, strongly promoting high-quality development in the geotechnical engineering field.

    On the evening of May 24, the Liyang Smart City Research Institute of Chongqing University specially hosted an industry-academia-research matchmaking salon. Academician Liu Hanlong's team and the participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on technology transfer and project cooperation. Representatives from several incubated enterprises and Class-A design institutes participated, building a bridge for university-enterprise collaborative innovation.

    In the participant sharing session, Wang Chunhu, Deputy General Manager of Hongyuan Zhongke, presented a sharing on "Visualized Squeezed-Expanded Branch-Plate Cast-in-Place Pile Technology," demonstrating its engineering advantages under complex geological conditions.

    On May 25, the participants visited Jianji Construction Group Co., Ltd. for mutual exchange, which coincided with the group's 40th anniversary, and they jointly offered their congratulations. As a benchmark enterprise in the foundation and ground engineering specialty contracting field in the Sunan region, Jianji Construction Group, with its strong qualifications, outstanding scientific research achievements, and high sense of social responsibility, has become an industry model for learning through its remarkable accomplishments in technology R&D and public welfare undertakings, leaving a deep impression on the participants.

    Through the dual perspectives of "academia + industry," this training program promoted in-depth dialogue between managers and research pioneers in the geotechnical engineering field, injecting new momentum into the green and intelligent development of the industry.
