Caterpillar is hosting exciting celebrations around the world to commemorate the company's legendary 100 years of focusing on customer innovation and leading industry transformation. In China, the celebrations began with the recent Caterpillar Centennial Global Tour exhibition in China and include a series of events initiated by local teams.

The Centennial Global Tour provides employees and visitors with an immersive experience that showcases Caterpillar's achievements through hard work and perseverance, as well as its vision for the future.

The celebrations being held across China will involve employees, customers, and dealers. These activities include:

"Flag Trace China" Celebration Relay:

A themed flag symbolizing a century of craftsmanship is being relayed across Caterpillar facilities in various locations, expressing Caterpillar employees' commitment to passing on the company's values, heritage, and aspirations for the future.

Caterpillar Centennial High-Speed Train:

A Fuxing high-speed train branded by Caterpillar runs between Beijing and Shanghai, displaying the Caterpillar centennial logo and the brand slogan "Built for It."

China National Geographic Special Issue:

China National Geographic magazine recently released a Caterpillar centennial commemorative special issue showcasing major projects in China in which Cat equipment has participated.

Global Operator Challenge:

Hundreds of Chinese construction machinery equipment operators are actively participating in the China regional competition of the Caterpillar Global Operator Challenge. Contestants from all over the country will operate the company's equipment in real working conditions to compete on operational dexterity, resilience, and technical versatility, and the winners will advance to the Asia-Pacific final for a chance to qualify for the global final.

Witnessing Service Stories:

To celebrate this important milestone, Caterpillar will collect 100 service stories from Cat dealers and produce them into videos, and will film 10 aftermarket customer story videos.

Centennial Celebration Customer Livestream Series:

Four livestream events will be held in China to trace Caterpillar's historical footprint and highlight its commitment to helping customers succeed in the future. These livestreams will run in parallel with customer events, celebrating Caterpillar's century-long legend together with a large online audience.

Cat Financial Customer Experience Day

A centennial-themed customer experience day designed to highlight Cat Financial's commitment to the customer experience. The experience day includes a series of activities emphasizing customer satisfaction and service excellence.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Caterpillar's development in China. These activities demonstrate our long-term commitment to helping customers grow and succeed in China.

Today, Caterpillar has about 20 manufacturing plants, 2 R&D centers, 2 logistics and distribution centers, and more than 12,000 local employees in China.

In China, Caterpillar also has four major Cat dealers and about 700 suppliers.
