On May 21, the "Hybrid Agricultural Machinery Technology and Industry Development Seminar," hosted by the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association and organized by Yuchai, was held in Yulin, Guangxi. Nearly 200 guests, including leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and industry associations, representatives of domestic and international agricultural machinery enterprises, and experts from universities and research institutions, gathered to conduct in-depth discussions on technological breakthroughs and industrial collaboration in hybrid agricultural machinery, jointly promoting the green and intelligent transformation and development of China's agricultural machinery.

Ning Xuegui, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, stated in his opening address that the electrification of large, complex, high-end intelligent agricultural machinery is an irresistible trend, a clear marker of industrial upgrading, and the focus of future competition among agricultural machinery enterprises. The association, the industry, and enterprises are full of confidence that hybrid tractors can help improve the performance and commercialization of agricultural machinery.

Li Hanyang, Chairman of Yuchai Co., Ltd., also stated in his address that under the policy guidance of the "dual carbon" goals and the "15th Five-Year Plan" development plan, hybrid technology has become the core path for the transformation and upgrading of the agricultural machinery industry. Yuchai has achieved phased results in hybrid tractors, harvesters, and other fields, realized batch market validation, and pursued collaborative innovation with upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain to help accelerate the industrialization of hybrid agricultural machinery.

During the "Hybrid Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Electrification Technology Exchange" session, representatives from enterprises including YTO Group, Weichai Lovol, Yingxuan Heavy Industry, Xingwang Zhiyun, Heilongjiang Dewo Technology, Hebei Nonghaha Machinery, Inner Mongolia Huade Forage Machinery, Shandong Huasheng Agricultural Sprayer, and Jilin Kangda shared the technical requirements and solutions for electric seeders, balers, and plant protection machinery. Participating experts unanimously agreed that the intelligent integrated control of hybrid tractors and electric agricultural machinery is the key to current industrialization, and that unified interface standards need to be formulated as soon as possible.

The "Hybrid Agricultural Machinery Technology Seminar and Industry Promotion Meeting" focused on key links in industrial implementation for practical exchanges. Technical teams from Yuchai, Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery, CRCHI, Jiangsu University, and Zhejiang Haitian Machinery introduced in detail the application progress of hybrid systems in equipment operating under complex conditions such as tractors, combine harvesters, cotton pickers, and hybrid harvesters, and jointly explored industrial chain collaboration models with industry associations, OEMs, and component suppliers. A representative of the Agricultural Mechanization Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs proposed that the next step will be to accelerate the maturation verification and subsidy policy implementation for hybrid agricultural machinery; Xing Min, Executive Vice President of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, expressed high expectations for hybrid agricultural machinery.

This seminar built an efficient dialogue platform for the government, enterprises, and research institutions, and clarified the collaborative path for technological breakthroughs and industrialization of hybrid agricultural machinery. In the future, it is necessary to further deepen cooperation across the entire "industry-academia-research-application" innovation system and promote the linkage of policy, technology, and market, thereby safeguarding national food security and helping China's agricultural machinery seize the initiative in the global green revolution.
